UE places strong emphasis on applied learning.

Students work on real business cases, group projects, and practical assignments, often reflecting real industry challenges. UE also collaborates with companies and brings in guest lecturers from organizations such as SAP, Microsoft, and Deloitte, while company visits (for example to tech firms like Google in Germany) give students direct exposure to how leading businesses operate. Internships are an integral part of the study experience, and many students gain industry exposure already during their studies.

In the 5th semester, students can choose between:

• an internship (in Germany or internationally)
• a study abroad semester at one of UE’s partner universities

• secondary school diploma and transcripts (or most recent transcripts if you are still in your final year)
• English language certificate at B2 level (IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 60 / Duolingo 100)

If you have not yet completed high school, you can usually still apply using your latest transcripts and predicted final results. In many cases, the university can issue a conditional offer, which becomes fully valid once your final diploma is submitted.

For students who may not yet meet the academic or language requirements, a foundation (pathway) program can also be an option. This allows you to strengthen your profile and progress into the Bachelor program afterward.
