18–JUN–2019 | Our partnership with one of the best schools, King’s Ely, started in 2017 when 20 of our youngest learners (8-10 year olds) from Italy attended the King’s immersion course. That education project turned out to be a great success! The UK’s Home Office has announced a new post-Brexit immigration system that will place European students under the same rules as non-EU counterparts and introduce a points-based system for skilled work and student visas.
In the initial outline of the new system – due to take effect from 1 January 2021 – the government has also said the EU citizens will be treated as non-visa nationals, and that the use of ID cards for entry by European citizens will be phased out. READ MORE

The UK has announced a new Graduate Visa that will allow international students to remain for two years after completing degree programs, a reversal of a policy introduced in 2012 and a move welcomed by the international education industry.
The new post-study work rights system for international students was unveiled by Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, yesterday. The restoration of two-year post-study work rights for international students reverses a policy introduced by Johnson’s predecessor, Theresa May, when she was Home Secretary in 2012.
