That education project turned out to be a great success! The UK is to introduce more flexibility into the visitor visa route by removing the short-term study visa and allowing study on programs up to six months on a visitor visa, while English UK is calling on the government to adopt measures to support the sector as it estimates an 80 per cent loss of student weeks due to Covid-19.

The UK’s Home Office has announced a new post-Brexit immigration system that will place European students under the same rules as non-EU counterparts and introduce a points-based system for skilled work and student visas.
In the initial outline of the new system – due to take effect from 1 January 2021 – the government has also said the EU citizens will be treated as non-visa nationals, and that the use of ID cards for entry by European citizens will be phased out. READ MORE
The UK has announced a new Graduate Visa that will allow international students to remain for two years after completing degree programs, a reversal of a policy introduced in 2012 and a move welcomed by the international education industry.
The new post-study work rights system for international students was unveiled by Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, yesterday. The restoration of two-year post-study work rights for international students reverses a policy introduced by Johnson’s predecessor, Theresa May, when she was Home Secretary in 2012.
