Consecutive interpreters are most commonly used in one-on-one situations such as hearings, small meetings, discussions etc. Unlike simultaneous interpretation, there is no specialist equipment required, just the expertise of the interpreter and momentary pauses in sentence so that they can relay what is being said in the target language and respond in the source language.

We have specific skills in a variety of disciplines including those in the medical, legal and technical sectors, and vast experience in covering negotiations about various subjects of science and policy held at the highest levels of European Union institutions. The consecutive interpreters we provide specialize in a number of languages, so even if it is a short notice, you can get in touch with us and we can give you a quote for the provision of a consecutive interpreter of the desired language who is sourced from your area so as to reduce transport costs to a minimum.
Consecutive interpreters typically cost less than simultaneous interprets because the process of translation is less demanding, due to the intervals between interpretations. This makes it a more cost efficient language solution.
Prodirekt provides consecutive interpreting services in over 20Â languages, including English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Albanian and Macedonian.
