ICEF Berlin 2025: Three Days of Connections, Celebration, and New Opportunities

At ICEF Berlin’s 30th anniversary, PRODIREKT and Verbalists Education & Language Network turned meetings into moments, partnerships into progress, and the city into our stage for learning, laughter, and inspiration.

7–NOV–2025 |  We are thrilled to share highlights from our attendance at the 30th-anniversary edition of ICEF Berlin, held 2–4 November 2025. This year’s trip became more than a business journey for us at PRODIREKT and our global brand Verbalists Education & Language Network — between scheduled meetings and formal networking, we created our own mini-adventure in the heart of Europe.

What we brought home

From early morning meetings to late-evening appointments, we reconnected with long-standing partners and met many new educators. Here is a snapshot of what we brought back:

• Five new university contracts in the U.S.
• Expanded sports-camp offerings with stronger marketing.
• Closer collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority ahead of an exciting new campaign.
• Confirmed allocations for summer camps: three in the UK, two in the U.S., and one in Valencia and Malta – priority placements that allow our students to plan ahead.
• Enhanced presence in Spain, with more reserved spots in Valencia, Malaga, and Barcelona.

And that’s just the start. We captured the energy, the business, and the joy of ICEF Berlin 2025 in a short reel that brings the event to life for our network and students.

Celebrations, dancing, and memorable moments

Beyond the intense meetings, Berlin offered its lighter side. We were privileged to attend the GLS party in a spectacular historic bathhouse next to their Prenzlauer Berg campus. The evening celebrated Barbara Jaeschke, founder and still-leading figure of GLS alongside her two daughters, who received a lifetime achievement award from IALC President Kevin McNally, honoring her vision and leadership in language education. GLS has been one of our first partners nearly 20 years ago, making this recognition even more meaningful.

These three days were packed with serious conversations about the future of international education — but also with dancing, laughter, and friendship hugs that reminded us why this industry is so human.

A heartfelt thank you to ICEF for 30 years of connecting educators, agents, and students, building a stage where ideas turn into partnerships, and reminding us why the global education community is always worth celebrating.

We now return energized, ready to channel the insights from Berlin into our upcoming offerings—from boarding-school placements and university pathways to language camps and sports-camp collaborations.
