ICEF Berlin 2021 marked the start of a new chapter in the international education industry

The world’s largest B2B-networking gathering in the education industry was held in Berlin from 31st of October until the 3rd of November. 1,767 international education professionals from 120 countries joined the event virtually and in Berlin, bringing the education community together again!

This year, ICEF Berlin was organized as a four-day hybrid event, allowing PRODIREKT and the Verbalists Education & Language Network to meet educators in person at the venue in Berlin, as well as in virtual meetings. As in previous years, our representatives connected with current partners, as well as established new business relationships, especially in the most popular study abroad destinations – US, UK and Canada.

The COVID-19 crisis has amplified essential elements of effective educator-agent relationships and, it is fair to say, that was also the central theme of this year’s event. Agents will play an even greater role after the pandemic, given educators’ need to rebuild international enrolments and because of the continuing limits on educator travel overseas. Students and educators alike will need more assistance than ever as they navigate evolving travel restrictions, public health conditions, testing services, and visa processing.

Despite these uncertain times, PRODIREKT has continued to recruit students thanks to our global network of experienced academic consultants and close partnerships with the world’s premium international schools and organizations. Our ICEF accreditation and regular attendance of that organization’s workshops and events are important in maintaining the high quality level of our academic advising. To that end, ICEF Berlin 2021 was once more a great success!
