PRODIREKT at the Canada Partnership Forum

We had the honor to be invited by ILAC (International Language Academy of Canada) to the Canada Partnership Forum (CPF), which took place in Vancouver, from 19 to 24 April. PRODIREKT was one of the 120 leading higher education agents in the world at the event.

We spent 4 days with the representatives of the best educators in Canada and had over 50 one-on-one meetings. During the event we attended 8 seminars that offered expert advice relating to the peculiarities of the Canadian higher education, employability and visa procedures. It was a rewarding experience that will help PRODIREKT academic advisors introduce Canadian higher education institutions to students around the world, especially to the ones coming from the emerging economies, such as Brazil, Ukraine, and the Balkan countries.

Welcome reception at ILAC’s Campus – the Canada Partnership Forum 2019 began with a welcome reception dinner at ILAC WHB Campus. It was a great opportunity to get to know one of ILAC’s impressive boutique campuses.

Meetings and seminars – the first day of meetings started with a delicious breakfast and an introduction to ILAC’s sales team, representing over 10 prominent markets around the world. Throughout the day, 80+ representatives from Canadian colleges and universities, industry leaders, and 120 agents engaged in one-on-one meetings and joined industry relevant seminars.

Dinner and campus tour at LaSalle College – LaSalle College in Vancouver opened its doors to welcome us for an exciting campus tour and a gourmet dinner reception. We had the opportunity to explore LaSalle’s newly renovated campus with guided tours while learning more about programs offered, facilities and services.

Masquerade Gala Dinner – it was a great opportunity to learn more about Georgian College & Lakehead University that sponsored the Masquerade Gala Dinner. The Waterview Special Events in Vancouver was the perfect venue for this event…lots of fun time filled with surprise performances and delicious food.

Networking trip to Whistler – the adventure of a lifetime! After the Canada Partnership Forum in Vancouver, we enjoyed a two-day trip to Whistler, one of the best ski destinations in the world. While some agents chose to have an adventurous day skiing or snowboarding, we enjoyed a relaxing day at the Scandinave Spa. The program also included an Immigration Seminar and a Panel of Thought Leaders.

An invitation for the next CPF event in Canada has already arrived and we can’t wait to enhance our connections with the best Canadian colleges and universities; this time we will be in Toronto!
