Prodirekt selected to provide language and communication services for the high-profile EU project – Strengthening Capacities of the Serbian National Assembly

Belgrade, Serbia – February 25, 2013 – Prodirekt, a leading communication and language consultancy in SEE, has been selected to provide the complete solution for the communications needs of the Hellenic Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in their twinning project.

The twinning project “Strengthening Capacities of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the EU integration Process” is an European Union funded project that will be jointly implemented by the Hellenic Parliament and National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from February 2013 until June 2014.

The purpose of the project is to increase efficiency, liability and transparency of the Serbian National Assembly particularly in the exercise of its representative role, legislative function and its oversight function of the executive branch.

The implementation of the project requires high quality translation and interpreting services. Prodirekt, with its extensive network of language professionals, will be responsible for the project’s communication needs, as well as translation and interpreting services in the following areas:

• Legislation & law making process
• EU acquis
• Parliament & Government operation
• Independent State bodies
• Operations research
• Communication and media

Interpreting services will be conducted in a series of workshops, conferences, roundtables, and trainings.
